Catholic Committee Advent Service & International Peace Light, Friday Dec. 11, 7:30pm

For those of you who are not aware, Catholics are celebrating the season of Advent, which is the four weeks prior to Christmas.  It is a time of peace, prayer and preparation.  Light is also a symbol.  The Catholic Committee on Scouting will be holding a service at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lindehurst this Friday night. Candles will be lit from the lantern which contains the Peace Light from the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and which has been transported here by scouts.  You may bring your own lantern and receive the fire to continue to light the Advent Wreath in your home.  There will be Scripture readings and Carols.  See flyer HERE for more details.
