L'ag Ba'omer Bonfire and Family Picnic
Wantagh Park Sunday May 18

We have all been waiting for the opportunity to get out and enjoy the park after that long, cold winter!

This is a fun family event sponsored by the Jewish Committee on Scouting and the Chabad Center for Jewish Life and is always FREE.  CLASS A UNIFORM.  Bring a picnic supper and they will provide s'mores and dessert.  Bring chairs, sports equipment, jackets and your Jewish Pride.

Boy Scouts are needed to help with games for the younger scouts and will be given Service Time.  Email Mr. Yanofsky at Alyanofsky@email.com

So...What is the L'ag and why is it important to count it?  You will get the answer to this question when you help celebrate this tradition.

See flyer for more details.

This Friday May 9 is Chris Granito's Eagle Court of Honor at 6:30pm at Saint Frances Auditorium in Wantagh.  If anyone can stop by at 1pm to help set up, that would be appreciated. (Scouts: Stay in school!)

The PANCAKE BREAKFAST will be at 8AM on Saturday May 24, after Flag Placement.  Everyone is expected to sell at least 4 tickets; we will be selling them at Thursday's meeting.  Also please send in your lottery ticket donations  or any other donations you have by, Thursday's meeting, to Mr. Spohrer.

COMING IN JUNE:

Rafting/Camping trip June 21-22. This would be a family trip.  Mr. Harrington will announce more details soon.
