This is a camping trip with a 9 mile day hike.
  • Bring a day pack with bag lunch, water bottle and snacks for the hike
  • Scouts should pack their gear in backpacks to transport their equipment to the campsite.
  • Water and bathrooms are available at the campsite so there is no need to bring your own water.
  • Scouts will be cooking in patrols for dinner and breakfast.
  • It will be cold at night - so no cotton, wool socks, fleeces, 15 degree or colder sleeping bags, and extra blankets if desired.  Gloves/hats, etc!
  • Wear layers - Underarmor, fleece, jacket, etc.
  • Don't forget rain gear and mess kit/utensils/cup, flashlight, knife (if Totin Chip)
