Gettysburg: Thank you

I would like to thank everyone on the Gettysburg trip for making it a success.  Thank you to the adults who participated that drove over 500 miles round trip and supervised the activities.  Thank you to the senior patrol leaders who kept the troop in order, on time and some times even in line ;-)  Thank you to all of the scouts who acted in a mature, responsible manner and were highly respectful when they needed to be. They all followed the trail guides intently, focused on seeking out the answers to the questions and navigating the trail.

All together, over three days we hiked 17 miles, saw numerous monuments and learned a great deal about pivotal events in our great nation's history.  The scouts really earned the medal and patches on this trip, they worked hard and it shows.  I am very proud to be a part of BSA Troop 577.

I hope everyone enjoyed it and learned as much as I did.  As I am new to the camping coordinator position and this was my first big trip planning I am open to any and all comments on what worked and what we could improve next time.
